• Training

  The club provides regular climbing sessions at the 8.5m wall in the sports centre, as well as occasional trips to larger walls in Dundee and Edinburgh. We also hire instructors on many of our weekend trips to teach vital skills such as navigation, trad climbing and winter skills. Our wall officers are at every session to help things run smoothly and answer any questions. Our competitions team captains also run additional fitness sessions for those wanting to improve climbing technique and performance. Many of our members regularly head over to the climbing centre in Dundee for training and local competitions. 

• Competition & Trips

  Our growing indoor climbing competitive team competes both locally in Dundee and Nationally at BUCS. If you have any questions about competing/ joining the team, please contact us! At the heart of the club are our regular weekend/day trips to some of Scotland’s most iconic landscapes. Usually staying in mountain huts or camping, these trips provide perfect opportunities to develop and practise skills (including putting up with the terrible Scottish weather!), as well as being a fab way to get to know our lovely members. Locations include Glen Nevis, Skye and Torridon to name a few. The club also provides safety equipment and climbing gear which is free of charge for our members to borrow.
